ULC Robotics needed to update their sales presentations for the CISBOT. The robot operates remotely underground to seal joint leaks in a live gas main without disrupting the gas service. This means that the robot operation is difficult to impossible to effectively photograph, making it a prime candidate for 3D animation.
ULC provided documentation and CAD files of the CISBOT. Raconteur designed 17 slides to show the process of launching the bot, drilling and sealing a joint.
The finished images were used in meetings with high-profile c-suite clients to great effect.
